Co2-FlyingScholarship Subsidy Policy:

  • The flight must be the most direct flight, departing from Taipei and arriving in your home country. Extra stay in any transit port is not allowed.
  • Ticket will be arranged by TaiwanICDF and purchased from designated travel agents.
Required Documents:

  2.  Photocopy of NCCU Diploma
  3.  Photocopy of Passport
  4.  Photocopy of ARC (Please note that ARC should be still valid on your departure date.)
  5.  Photocopy of Transit Visa (if necessary)
  6.  An email notification of reception of your article issued by JIC editorial office and your Authors agreement signed by your advisor.
Please send your applications to program manager at least 14 days before your departure date.
Important Reminders:
  1. For scholarship recipients who successfully graduated before the given award period, the TaiwanICDF will provide you one plane ticket for the most direct flight back to your home country following your graduation. For a period of continuous work or internship in Taiwan following your graduation, the valid time period of using the aforementioned plane ticket will be within your given award period and up to one (1) year after your given award period (no later than August 31 of the following year) under the condition that you graduate within the given award period and complete submission of the abridged theses for the Journal of International Cooperation (JIC). Tickets for dates falling after the regulated departure date may not be reserved or applied for.
  2. It’s STUDENT’s full responsibility to verify that the information (name, destination and itinerary) is correct and you have valid visa to enter the transit port.  Any visa fees (including any visas required for travel through other countries) will be borne by students.
  3. Students who do not fly as scheduled (no show) are responsible for any additional expenses associated with cancellation fees and any other penalties incurred as a result. In such cases, the TaiwanICDF will cancel the return ticket and report the applicant to their embassy in the R.O.C.
  4. Extra expenses caused by rescheduling and any changes on the ticket will be borne by students.
  5. Every airline has its own carry-on and check-in luggage policy, including for weight limits and transporting pets. Students have been advised to check with the airlines for details before departure. Baggage fees will be borne by students.
  6. If your final departure date falls on or before the 15th day of July, you will receive half the allowance for that month.
