Here are the things you would expect to see and do in the following days after walking off the plane.

Airport Pickupimages

Due to COVID-19, you will take a quarantine taxi from Taoyuan International Airport to your quarantine hotel. The date you arrive will be Day 0, and you will stay in a quarantine hotel for 8 days (Day 0- Day 7). After finishing quarantine, you will take a taxi to NCCU I-House or move into the dorm directly. You will need to pay for the taxi first and keep the receipt for reimbursement. The fee for quarantine hotel will be covered by ICDF scholarship.

Upon your arrival, remember to buy some New Taiwan Dollars at the currency exchange in the airport (normally the service is available from early morning to late evening) for the immediate necessities (especially if you arrive late at night). It is advised to exchange around US$100 (~NTD3,100) for immediate use.

Be sure to touch base with your family back home – they want to know that you have arrived safely.

Stay in I-House

If you finish quarantine before 2nd September 2022, you will be initially lodged in I-House before before moving to the student dorm. WiFi is also available.  Your temporary stay at the I-House is also covered by ICDF scholarship.
