- Each master level student would receive NTD15,000 per month (NTD180,000 per year) as allowance for food and miscellaneous living expenses. Twenty-three months allowance will be offered starting September.
- Allowance will be DEPOSITED MONTHLY into your local account by the 3rd day of each month, except for August (transition month of budget) or February (if its first week falls into Chinese New Year holiday). Students shall open an account of either First Commercial Bank or Post Office branch in campus by providing ARC, passport, and a minimum deposit of NTD1000.
- Please keep in mind School WON’T PROCESS ANY EARLY PAYMENTS due to any personal matters. Please manage your finance WISELY and live on budget.
- Allowance will remain to be granted during your summer and winter break. However, if you go home for the entire two months during the summer vacation, your July and August allowance will be pending and will be given to you after you come back to school.
- Allowance will be dispensed starting September of your arrival year and will terminate after July of your graduate year or the month you depart Taiwan after graduation (whichever occurs first).
- If your FINAL departure date (normally when you graduate) falls on or before the 15th day of the month, you will receive half the allowance for that month.
- According to Program Advisory IV.2, for any travel taking place during a semester, your director or advisor should be informed of and approve your travel plans (date, period, location(s), reasons for travel, etc.); otherwise your living allowance will be suspended according to the number of days you are absent. If you plan to make a trip, please make sure to notify your project manager ahead of your travel.
- If your temporary leave (outside of Taiwan) exceeds a period of two consecutive months during a semester, you will not receive any monthly allowance for the time spent outside of Taiwan.
